Q Is there any award that you did not receive which would have given you great pleasure, and which of the awards that you received are you the most proud?
A The one that I missed that gave me the most disappointment was in the fifth grade. I had a perfect attendance record until the very end of the school year when I had to stay home for two days!
All of the honors and awards were meaningful, but perhaps the Hilliard-Roderick Prize, and the Medal that Bob Mikulak and I shared in 1992, just as the Chemical Weapons Treaty efforts were coming to an end was very special. The result some 22 years later appear to justify the award.
