St. Louis Gala honors the Hellen and Will Carpenter
Hellen and Will Carpenter were among 20 others honored Saturday night, October 28, 2017, at the 15th Annual Ageless, Remarkable St. Louisans Gala at the Hyatt Regency in downtown St. Louis. All of the honorees were St. Louis Metropolitan residents, 75 years and older, who have remained active in Volunteerism and Philanthropy. The esteemed group was celebrated at the beautiful black-tie Gala by hundreds of guests who enjoyed an evening of comradery, a delicious dinner, and a fabulous champagne and dessert finale.
Hellen and Will were joined Saturday night by their daughter, Celeste and her husband Rick, their son, Will and his wife, Zonnya, Zonnya’s parents, Wylene and Bob White, and Will’s long-time assistant, Alice Nichols, in addition to other close friends. Not only was it a beautiful party, but it was an opportunity for the Carpenters to be with close friends and family in a light-hearted atmosphere.
The event was sponsored by St. Andrew’s: Resources for Seniors, a charitable organization that helps low-income seniors with needed support and resources. Nearly $200,000 was raised from donations associated with the event, which will enable St. Andrew’s to provide much-needed assistance to many seniors.
